City Liquor Store and Bar Manager

The City Liquor Store and Bar Manager, Andy Torres, is responsible for managing and day-to-day operations of the City Liquor Store and Bar.

Below are the primary responsibilities of this position:

  • Oversees all vendors, including orders and invoicing
    • Includes timely delivery to the City Finance Officer all deposits, invoices, and receipts of bar-related purchases
  • Plans menus and specials
  • Interviews, hires, and manages bar staff
    • Works with the City Finance Officer for hiring requirements
  • Adheres to South Dakota laws concerning bar operations, safe food service, the sale of alcoholic beverages, and video lottery gaming
  • Brings bulding maintenance needs/repairs to the attention of the City Council
  • Attends monthly City Council Meetings and provides updates concering the Bar Report
